Shoot the plate, the salad and the dessert: each photo counts as one analysis. A package barcode is shot with the same camera: if the product is in the database, FotoBite fills in the nutrition facts and gives the analysis back.

Snap your food: FotoBite counts the calories and macros and shows what is left of your daily target.

Why count calories
In the app, choose a goal (weight loss, maintenance or muscle gain) and FotoBite calculates your daily calorie and macro target, plus a guide for each meal. Log your weight whenever it suits you.
Protein is calculated from adjusted body weight rather than current weight; at a high BMI that is a difference of tens of grams. If you know your body-fat percentage, enter it and the target gets more precise; if not, average values are used.
FotoBite works from your own diary and does not give medical advice: talk to a doctor about any health questions. For users aged 18 and over.

How it works
It usually takes 3–5 seconds, and you see every step: photo uploaded, dishes recognised, calories counted.
Shoot the plate, the salad and the dessert: each photo counts as one analysis. A package barcode is shot with the same camera: if the product is in the database, FotoBite fills in the nutrition facts and gives the analysis back.

Every food on the photo gets its grams, calories and macros, with the AI's confidence and a calorie range next to them. Adjust a portion with "+" and "−" and untick anything extra. Saving the entry takes one tap.

You can't see oil in a photo, yet it carries a lot of calories. If a dish is usually fried, FotoBite adds the oil as its own line, which you can adjust or remove. The "Fried in oil", "No oil" and "Restaurant" tags make the estimate more accurate.

Your daily target is split across meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner each get a guide, so you see at once whether a meal fits. Recent dishes can be repeated in one tap.

FAQ
Take a photo of your plate in FotoBite; you can send up to 3 photos at once, and each counts as a separate analysis. Usually within 3–5 seconds of sending, you get a draft: the foods are labelled right on the photo, each with grams, calories and macros. Check the portions, adjust the grams if needed and save the entry to your diary.
It is an estimate, not a weighing: accuracy depends on the light, the angle and whether the whole meal is visible. That is why FotoBite shows its confidence and a calorie range, and you can adjust the grams before saving. Frying oil is not visible in a photo, so FotoBite adds it as its own line, which you can also change or remove. A fork or spoon next to the plate helps estimate the portion size.
Yes, on the Free plan: 3 photo analyses per day, manual entry and unlimited history. Pro gives up to 20 photo analyses per day with the same features: 199 ⭐ per month, 480 ⭐ for 3 months or 1590 ⭐ per year.
No. FotoBite works right inside Telegram — open the bot and start counting calories from photos without installing a separate app.
A photo is kept only for the analysis and is sent to the recognition service without your Telegram ID. The file is deleted when the analysis finishes, whether it succeeded or failed; if the analysis was interrupted by a fault, automatic clean-up deletes the file within 30 hours. FotoBite does not use photos to train models.
You can cancel the monthly plan in the app (Profile → Subscription → Cancel renewal) or in Telegram settings. Pro stays active until the end of the paid period. The 3-month and 1-year plans are one-off payments and do not renew.
